Icetana AI Wins Major Security Deal for Malaysia's Largest Shopping Mall

We’re excited to announce that icetana AI has officially entered the Malaysian market, securing a three-year contract worth US$300,000 (A$470,503) to enhance security at 1 Utama, the largest shopping mall in Malaysia.

This milestone is achieved through our collaboration with AE Security System, a leading Malaysian security solutions provider. Under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, this partnership will contribute A$155,000 in annual recurring revenue, further driving our growth in the retail security sector.

Strengthening Security with AI-Powered Video Analytics

1 Utama is one of Southeast Asia’s busiest shopping malls, attracting millions of visitors each year. By deploying icetana AI’s anomaly detection technology, security teams will be empowered with real time insights, helping them identify and respond to potential threats efficiently across their vast surveillance network.

Expanding Our Global Presence

This deal marks our first Malaysian customer and strengthens our footprint in global retail and public safety. What’s Next?

Implementation is set to be completed by the March 2025 quarter, after which software licensing will commence. Payment terms include an initial advance, followed by structured yearly payments.
